Very disappointing went in for a major service and to look at a problem of a slow start. They did the service and then told me the slow start couldn't be fixed. I picked the car up on the Friday and had to call the RAC out on the Sunday due to not a slow but a now total non start. RAC informed me the car would now only start with an Easy start spray which would ultimately kill the engine. All for 450. Maybe they could have questioned the need for a service. I got a reply from Hind Heath with regards to my poor review. I was already not very impressed with the service I had received but now they wanted to add insult to injury by blaming me for not having mentioned the starting problem in my initial email and subsequent phone call. Due to my work commitments and they being fully booked it took the best part of two weeks to take the car to them. In that time the at first seemingly minor problem of a slow start had become significantly worse. I told them by phone on the morning that I dropped the car off before they had opened for business and had posted the keys through the letter box. They had to start the car in order to take it inside so could not fail to be aware of the problem. I believe they should have looked at this problem first before spending a lot of money on a car that they couldn't fix and if not fixed would become terminal. The service and door repair I think was a perfectly good job. It is only the slow start problem that I have difficulty with. I don't know if the issue is with common sense or integrity but either way they have not given good service to me on this occasion.
