Went here for lunch today with hubby n doggy stanley .we had a lovely thick bread sandwich of turkey, stuffing n cranberry sauce with chips n salad .we had a lovely pot of tea with homemade biscuit .I love this pub n so does my dog Stanley there was free doggy treats n water bowls by the bar .will definitely be visiting again soon
Onion rings really greasy.cabbage was old crinkly on the ends.wifes meal.my meal chicken was nice.pity chips were french fries few lettuce leaves.that was 15. Had beta and cheaper.waitress was lovely.
Friendly enough but the food wasn't very good at all. The steak was very fatty and for the money it wasn't worth it. Onion ring tasted extremely oily, we ate two and left the rest, I never leave onion rings. They did refund it though thankfully. We wont go back.
Where do we start 1st wrong food came to our table then when it did arrive we had to then wait for cutlery. Ready to enjoy well no food was warm/cold not even near warm no coke available for the driver. No checks to see how meal was or is. WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN
Good but not great. Excellent value lunch menu. Rarebit starter was odd but tasty. Good portions. Lovely staff.
