Excellent dinner. Huge shower with lots of hot water. But my room right is at the front of the building with flood lights shining through the curtain which might disturb some people. Earplugs useful if you don't like the sound of heavy lorries through the night. Strange stains on the chair and sofa, but the rest of the large room is spotless. Bed as hard as a rock and pillows lumpy. Warm. Easy to access from M6.
We stayed in the lodge room not to bad a little more maintenance would help food very good excellent chef and staff helpful and friendly.
Such a handy place just off the motorway. Stopped on way up north. Had the best fired Pizza. Room was so quiet bed comfy. I asked to borrow an iron it was outside the room in less than 5 minutes. Impressive.
We loved this hotel. Its located in a very peaceful country setting about 2 miles from Sandbach. The place is clean and tidy and the breakfasts are excellent. The pub its attached to is also very nice and does great food. The staff are all polite and friendly. Thanks
Really excellent value for money. We were there as a group for a wedding nearby so only wanted somewhere clean to sleep at the end of the night. Breakfast was a bit of an issue. There seemed to be only one person working there who may have been cooking as well. So there were not enough glasses, the coffee and orange juice were empty, we had to ask for more cups etc. She made sure we knew it too so we felt awkward asking for things that should have been there. Perhaps they could employ somebody to help her and also give her day of training in customer service.
