I would recommend go elsewhere. It took them 45 minutes to put 3 items in a bag. In the time it took them to bag a prescription I could have driven to stoke and back. If anyone reads this go somewhere else first.
It's handily placed inside the doctors' surgery but with that convenience factor comes the payoff that it's always busy. You can wait half an hour but it's usually no more than 5-10 minutes and if you're picking up a pre-oredered prescription they're pretty efficient. It's a shame they're not open on Saturdays but it's handy that they're linked to the surgery's computer system and the surgery uses the Patient Access app which is really handy for appointment booking and for ordering repeat prescriptions.
I can not recommend this pharmacy. Ive used them several times and each time Ive asked for an estimate of the wait, to be told 5-10 minutes. Each time Ive waited over half an hour. I have worked in a pharmacy myself and I know things crop up and its not always possible to give an accurate timescale but it appears to be to be deliberate understating if wait times. Ive had issues with half the prescription being missing, problems with controlled drugs bring dispensed and just a complete lack of care from staff. Its a high stress environment, being joined to the surgery, but this pharmacy really is failing.
Very poor and slow service. Even when your pescription has been there for days your still left waiting for it to be packed. Staff a little rude in my opinion and not enough. Have now started to take my pescription elsewhere.
From bad to worse. Rang at 1145 to ask if prescription submitted online 5 days ago was ready. Answer yes in 30 mins. Arrive 1230, prescription not ready! If it wasn't for the fact they were next to Ashfields they would go out of business. Farcical!
